The Grant County Animal Outreach (GCAO) Board of Directors meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at Chico’s 530 W Valley RD Moses Lake, Washington at 6:30 p.m. Community members are encouraged to attend. If you are interested in serving on the Board of Directors, please contact us.
Grant County Animal Outreach assumed operation of the Moses Lake, Washington animal shelter on July 9, 2007. The GCAO team works hard to provide the best possible care for the displaced pets of Grant County, Washington while finding as many forever homes as possible. Coordinating with a network of rescues across the state, hundreds of adoptable animals are transported to no-kill rescues when space is limited. Providing temporary shelter for 200-400 cats and dogs per month, there are always opportunities for volunteers to foster a shelter pet or help transport to rescue. Please contact us for more information on how you can get involved to help animals in need.
GCAO envisions continued improvements to the facility for better health and comfort of the shelter pets while continuing to provide education to the community on the importance of spaying and neutering to lower the number of homeless animals. With the community’s support we can make this mission possible.
