As more commerce comes to Grant County, Washingon the community will grow. GCAO envisions continuing to provide necessary animal care services as well as expanding to incorporate a better facility. The newer facility will offer modernized enclosures for the dogs and cats, an inviting adoption area, a retail area, and conference rooms to provide education to the employees, volunteers, and community on the health and welfare of the animals in our care. Most importantly, the modernized structure would contain an in house veterinarian. GCAO aspires to provide low-cost spay/neuter and vaccination services to the public from the future facility to assist the members of our community that cannot afford the high cost of care in the area.

Our Future Building site is approximately 2.83 acres and here’s what the new facility might look like. This new space will greatly effect the well-being of the animals in our care in so many ways.
